Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS]

 Whoo. Talking in spoilers now.

Someone over at Zelda Informer was suggesting that the Zelda timeline is cyclical now, due to the fact that The Imprisoned looks so much like Ganondorf at the end of Wind Waker (Scar on his head, hair color/style). It's possible that somehow Ganondorf escaped by someone discovering him and then he took the Master Sword and transformed it into his own all-powerful weapon. It would explain the technology present in Skyward Sword, due to the fact that starting with Spirit Tracks, the advancement of technology grew quickly. It's possible that that technology was destroyed in the "great war whose likes would never be seen again" that's mentioned in the intro video for Skyward Sword.

This is all speculation, however. I doubt Nintendo is going that route and are just using similar models for ease of making the game or for speculation / long-lasting debates to occur.

I don't know how many of you guys have seen the intro video for Skyward Sword yet. If you haven't, here it is :

If you look at 0:30, you can see many different faces looking at the screen. The three on the left and the one in the middle look like they can be (from left to middle) : Ghirahim, Majora, Happy Mask Man (Yes, he apparently is evil), and Ganon. I'm pretty sure that was put there for fun, but that would be interesting if they tie those beings in with this game.
