So from what I've been hearing about the plentifulness (is that even a word?) of chaos scrolls and such, it seems like the "middle class" of maple got the biggest benefit, while the some of the richest people got destroyed by this event. The price of crystal ilbis seem to be plummeting along with well-scrolled pink adventurer capes and facestompers, to a lesser extent. Also, people with chaos scrolls, taos, etc. stored up for later selling with the idea that the price of them will go up over time probably just suffered losses of at least 1bil. Chaos scrolls were worth like 400-500mil before the event, and now they're like a fifth of their original price. I know someone who has been storing chaos scrolls for a while and had at least 6 of them before the event; I wonder what happened to him =/ I'm not sure what'll happen to horntail groups though... even with maple warrior 20 and genesis 30 going down and such, the groups will have more pendant demand from the people getting rich off opening the chests. Also, all these chaos scrolls going around ultimately just benefits non-magician classes since chaos scrolls can increase weapon attack. Night lords benefit too from the easier to obtain 30-atk stars and cheaper other stars as a result.
I just don't think it's fair for people who have worked hard for their money see their chaos scrolls, taos, 4atk/10luk capes, etc. suddenly plummet in price. Sure, it's better to have those originally rare items less rare now, but if Nexon wanted it this way, it should've thought of that before releasing the items.
