If you read the first paragraph of that thread it is exactly what you just described and declared it isn't;


Maybe they don't know that it doesn't work any more, although the last assertion in the thread is that it does

But if you read the last few posts from the threadstarter, you see it isn't a lock any more:

If that's the case, then Nexon effectively broke my lock. The passwords themselves still make for strong passwords though (as long as you don't rely on it too much and make a password like "h㊥tdog" or something).
