If this is an NX whoring event-
It seems more like Nexon saying "everyone complains about gacha rates, and gacha items can't make any non-NX users money?"
-What if we had super gacha tickets(keys) that opened boxes from normal monsters!

-And we will make them tradable so non-NX users can get mesos too!

If they made the Keys cost 1500 meso instead of 1500NX then this event would have been great. As it is, its just another in a long line of NX Grabbing Events put on by Nexon.

For a game that is heavily marketed as "free to play" Nexon is doing nothing to show that they mean that. Its just one of those advertising gimmicks that turn out to be a lie.
