I tend not to go out shopping unless it is the holiday season, or I am going with something exactly in mind to get. So physical shopping impulses haven't happened in ages for me. However, since I've gotten into steam, their sales and pricing strategies have really gotten the better of me showing that I very much have these impulses. Those 85+ games I've bought in the past 2 years could have been something much bigger, or hell, even just the current gen consoles I've been trying to save up for. ... I'm becoming casual, aren't I?
Back when I had work, this happened with me quite often. I suppose that is a much better way of looking at it though; at the time, I didn't think of it in a positive light like that. Saved myself quite a bit over the time then.

My worst temptations come in the form of internet shopping, but once I've filled my cart with way over budget and still don't have everything I want in there, I get into an infinite loop of "can't make up my mind which to toss" and end up buying nothing.
