That man, even if he has crippling diseases, can still possibly be the only person who can operate USA's nukes effectively due to experience and he could've built the damn things himself. A more realistic scenario that can be attributed to your argument is a worker with 5 years (AMs) experience getting less seniority/health benefits/salary/job security than another worker doing the same exact job with the same exact credentials but only with 2-3 years (Evans) experience. How would this be fair? It wouldn't be.I have to disagree with you. Here's the thing. The legends ARE the older class and have hundreds of years worth of experience. So yes they SHOULD be stronger. Mir is basically Afrien's soul reincarnated so Mir at full power should have all the power Afrien would have. Aran and Mercedes both fought the Black Mage together and were both frozen. That frozen time weakened their power but not destroyed it. Over time they gained it back. I don't see a problem here. The Legends shouldn't make the ADV completely pointless but they don't. Each class has something they can bring to the table that can help. Hell I use a bucc in my guilds Zakum speed run. I used him at Chaos Zak. Why? Because he has speed infusion and time leap in which the later saved our asses. I don't get what the problem is here. Mercedes might outclass bms and mms but I can think of reasons to keep them around and still be used. Evans have higher DPS then A/Ms. Okay. F/P can do hell with DoT, I/l has incredable mob control since it's main attack is CL. Sure other classes like Aran can too but so can a bucc spamming Dragon Strike. The only classes that should be useless for bossing is Cygnus and Resistance(I wish but that's not the case). Here I'll make a list of why the Adventurers at this point are still good.
Where did I imply that you wanted to get rid of ADV classes? Nowhere. Also, it was implied by me that bishops are out of this argument (I'm talking about AMs vs. Evans here only). Let me re-state this clearly: Evans on top of AMs in 1v1+mobbing+support = blasphemy.
l
Warriors
Darks: Can save a few lives with Iron Will and HB.
Paladins:Combat orders, not to mention they aren't bad attackers.
Heros
ure damage dealers, sure lower then demon slayers but that darkness from panic can work wonders.Mages
F/P: You would be amazed at how much that DoT can help the party out put.
I/L: Need mob control or just a nice attacker? This should do it
Bishops:Good for support, though it needs some better support skills my guild Bishop increases our output a lot.
Archers
Bowmaster: It may be outclassed by Mercedes, but that doesn't mean some crazy damage can come out of these guys.
Marksmen: Same as above,
Thiefs
NightLords: I don't have much to say..these guys need a revamp bad..you won this guy<
Dual Blades: While they may have fallen in the Legend patch a nice funded dual blade is a force to be reckoned with
Shadowers: DAT MESO EXPLOSION
Pirates
Cannoners: I see nothing but nice numbers coming from these guys.
Corsair:Same here, they're quick and over the years have really helped our parties dps and dpm
Buccs: Time leap, Speed Infusion, nuff said. L>Revamp though...
I personally love the Adventurer classes and always will. I know a very large amount of people who would never NEVER trade their Adventurers for any other class set EVER. So final line: Legends SHOULD be stronger, slightly, not overwhelming *cough mercedes* but that doesn't take away from what the Adventurers have. Besides what the flying ringling brothers circus from fking hell happened to playing a class because you liked it and it was fun not ZOMFG POWAH. Also before says anything I have an Evan, Hero, Marksman, and F/P A/M so no this wasn't biased.
TL;DR Legends should>Adventurers even if it's only a little bit.
EDIT: This should be the end of this discussion on this thread at least.
