Thornmail (2000 gold for the same amount of armor, and a rebound. This already probably melts the AD carries like butter, if they're idiots and focus you, which apparently they are since apparently focus you even if you have a Randuin's and a Frozen Heart).
2 Sapphire Crystals: 200 mana each, 400 gold. (heck if it's possible, you could buy another half of a mana crystal and still have 225 gold left for wards and crap, and that'll equal the Frozen Heart in terms of MP).
Should've gone with a Thornmail, mate, and then a Banshee's Veil right after (for those 1-2 AP carries, the MP, the HP, and the passive). Thornmail would have destroyed them.
You need to read a bit more.
I already had a thornmail. There were ZERO AP carries. Cho was their tank... he posed almost no threat.
They were 4 AD +Cho.
Before getting the 2nd FH I had:
Tear, Sorcs, FH, Thornmail.
I'm not saying FH was the best choice for a 5th item. But against 4 AD carries, the main threat of which had a LW, I needed more armor... I decided to get more mana while I was at it. The wasted gold meant nothing... I had TONS to spare.
