My logic is, You have both a sheen and a trinity force and ASP to give you 1 attack per sec:
1sec 2sec 3sec 4sec 5sec
Use a skill and got the Trinity Proc / Used the Proc and Trinity enter CD / Use a skill and get Sheen Proc / Used the proc and sheen enters in CD / Repeat
Doesn't work. All pull from the same pool for procs, lich gets priority over the other two. Shouldn't be so hard to understand, it clearly states in game that trinity does not stack with sheen or lich. Logically should work both ways. And it indeed does.

Since you already have AA, RoA would add 525 mana + 75 AP with 0 stacks. That makes 57 Q damage, 71 W damage and 26 E damage extra. (all numbers rounded down since I have no idea how that works in LoL.) That seems like quite a big increase to me, especially if you consider how spammable Q is.
You're forgetting it's 3.1k gold, a huge investment for just offensive stats when you could be building other items that give both offense and defense (LIVE LONGER, DO MORE DAMAGE)
