The only added perk Zhonya's has is the Active which isn't that useful since you're gonna be trying to do consistent damage on ryze. Frozen Heart is also like 300g cheaper iirc.
Maybe a Rod of Ages would've been better since armor gets less useful when you have more of it, and the RoA adds a lot of HP and a lot of damage. Or maybe even a Will of the Ancients but I guess that depends on your team comp and such.
If you really want to be useful against AD, you get a randuins.
If you want mana, you get mana.
Don't build two Frozen Hearts.
