@above:Frozen heart also gives Unique CDR so even more loss. 1 Frozen heart should have been enough, you could have followed with a zhonya or something if you were concerned about armor/ap.
Zhonya's -> 50 armor, Frozen Heart -> 99 armor
Zhonya's -> 100 AP, Frozen Heart -> 500 mana (makes frozen heart do more damage with his Q spell which is also his main damage spell)
The only added perk Zhonya's has is the Active which isn't that useful since you're gonna be trying to do consistent damage on ryze. Frozen Heart is also like 300g cheaper iirc.
Maybe a Rod of Ages would've been better since armor gets less useful when you have more of it, and the RoA adds a lot of HP and a lot of damage. Or maybe even a Will of the Ancients but I guess that depends on your team comp and such.
