Discrimination

I don't remember what the 2nd job instructor says about the advances (and it's possible they've changed it since they redid a bunch of quest dialog).

When I started, 3rd job wasn't available yet. I didn't know anything about what the later advancements were, and neither did anybody else in Global. For that matter, when I advanced to 3rd job the highest level monsters were Werewolves, Lycanthropes, Bains, Dark Yeti & Pepes.



@ the merchant thing, it's only pineappleed up cause it's true. I wish it weren't.-

Spears and pole arms are long, huge weapons and even though there's a difference in damage between slashing and stabbing, they can apply the most damage at once compared to other warriors.
Those weapons are two-handed weapons, so shields can't be used, and the attacking speed are generally slow, but those weaknesses are covered with guard-oriented and speed-oriented skills to make the Spearman the most dangerous warrior around.

I mean nevermind half of it is for the wrong class, their advice is also pretty screwed up. Threaten is not some super useful skill. Spears and Polearms are not able to apply "the most damage" compared to other warriors (Spear is the weakest 2nd job, then 1 handed Axe/BW, then Polearms, then 2 handed Axe/BW, all Swords are strongest).

The guide still doesn't have any 3rd or 4th job information.
