The degenerate social customs of the event, such as dressing up in suits and dresses, along with the overall superficiality of the event gives prom a flavor that tastes like mildewed goat cheese on crackers. I'm not against fun. I love having fun. Who doesn't? My definition of fun is different from other people's definition. I find fun in being out in nature and making up nonsensical sentences. In the end, people may con themselves into believing they are actually having a nice time pretending to be proper, but are they really having a good time wasting time on an event that has no importance?you're doing a lot more judging than you are analyzing. time you enjoyed wasting is not wasting time. maplestory, whether or not you still play it, ends up being a bigger waste of time than going to a dance since dancing gives you physical exercise. you're not exactly in a position to call people superficial for opting to go to a dance rather than have fun "the right way".
