I spent my prom with my two best friends sleeping over in a basement and playing games or talking about life or whatever. Time well spent? I dunno. Doesn't really matter though. Nothing in high school ever does.
You'd be surprised what my friends would do. They've already made their intentions clear to me: show up at my home when I least expect it and kidnap me.

Exactly. Besides, I have better things planned when I leave town that weekend than attempting to "interact" with people. Not only that, but it irks me as to why people even go to social events like these when clearly the most important thing to do in high school is to keep up your grades and learn to prepare you for college and what you want to do in life, instead of wasting your time on some picayune event that is supposedly "one of the most memorable experiences you'll ever have in your life, period." Humans make no sense to me.
