Excuses not to go to school prom?

Well she asked me if I already had a pair or if I'm gonna dance at all. I told her "I would rather not dance, I don't know" or along these lines. She was like "come on" so I said fine. Maybe it was also the fact that my friends were there too. Just later this weekend I really realised what I had agreed on and how much I was stressing over it.

Well are your friends going? If they had such a huge impact on your decision they must be going too right?

Also your school can force classes on to you? Dont see how going to the prom means you want to take dancing classes.
