Crunchy bacon always tastes overcooked and too salty.

Then again, salt is and always has been my favorite flavor accentuator, and I am of the opinion that absolutely everything can be improved with it. My most notable discovery is salting doughnuts. It goes without saying that I have also tried doughnuts wrapped in bacon.
