Sorta like how snipers were better than rangers at literally everything. More damage and similar speed with better mob controls. Invalidating the claimed "differences" of speed vs damage.
It's very noticeable. I'm going down ice, and most of my attacks either slow down or freeze enemies. I don't know if I'm just super lucky, but just with Glacial Strike I have like a 80% freeze rate. Fire skills are very strong, but I prefer having immobile enemies, so...
And at the person who asked about Ignite, it's the strongest Ele skill with the current 32 level cap. It has a ridiculous 45 second cooldown with equally insane damage, and even sets enemies on fire.
