Tank items on a Lux? She's supposed to be the unstoppable force that noone can reach in the back. A snowball item is still acceptable in the level of play he's at presuming by his wins especially on a Lux who has a very easy time building up assists and staying out of harms way. What spell do you recommend outside of Clarity? I run Flash/Clarity as well and have had great succes with it. Ignite is impractical seeing as it's close range, Exhaust for the same reason and that doesn't even help Lux much seeing as it lasts too short for your second spell round, Teleport is another option, but Lux doesn't have problems with hp in lane, but with mana because of her shield and it has a longer cooldown, Ghost isn't that needed on such a long range character where she already has Flash and she can't chase well with all her spells being skill shots, Heal doesn't cut it because she has problems with mana not with her shield as I've said. I think that covers all common mid lane spells, not to mention that clarity also benefits your team and allows you to abel to not build any mana items maximizing your damage potential. Surely a RoA first Lux with flash/ignite is viable, but I prefer a flash/clarity Lux who rushes deathcap to have a great early game. A spell vamp item is a very bad idea on a Lux though. You're long range so you don't have to poke your way back to health and it isn't really worthwhile with such long cd's in a 1vs1 fight. You're either able to nuke em or you run away slowing them down with your cc's back to your team.
As for the akali nerf debate. She could get a few lower ratio's or base values but what I really want changed is her ultimate, which is just so annoying to go against. For example after a teamfight me, as morgana and her stayed alive with the rest dead. She jumps at me and I flash. She jumps again and I bind her because it had just gone off cooldown. She jumps AGAIN to me and kills me. I know that this doesn't apply to everything at all but she certainly ruins my playing experience as a squishy usually.
