Well, a minor set-back to my bike riding experience today. I woke up to it raining outside, something that for all intents and purposes is not that common in LA. Given that I'm riding my bike to work I had no choice but to brave it in the rain, since I didn't want to succumb to the overwhelming pressure of calling it quits on my biking endeavors! So I left ten minutes early, got completely soaked, and made it to work. Fortunately I always have an extra set of clothes at work, given the nature of my work. So I took a shower to warm up and commenced my day.
Minor work frustration: Can't seem to find a way to laser mark Chrome plated stainless steel without it turning a green-ish tint. Had to scrap out a $15,000 order and call up a very unhappy customer to let them know we need to rework their product. Not a fun experience
Got out of my math class at five and have an hour wait until my next class starts at six, so I bought a coffee and decided to review my reading for the week. Only to walk over to the class at six to find the class had been cancelled and I waited for an hour out in the cold for nothing.
