The Escape PQ counter sometimes places you at 10 prematurely, that, or Keys disappear from one's inventory sometime during the PQ. But the best answer is that the PQ locks down at 8. I got up to 8 PQs yesterday and 8 PQs today when I was barred from entering. Guildmate also reports 8 then lock from yesterday. I don't think my Keys are disappearing.
I had the "False 10" glitch happen to me yesterday. My sisters' and I only completed Escape 7 times and then it said I did it 10 times. Only happened for Escape. Kenta and Hob King stopped us at 10.
