Pro tip: if you're into modding, you can "get" whatever skins you want. It's client-sided only though, but you'll still feel guuud nevertheless xD
People in the LoL University chat room are quite chill. Most SPers are pretty chill too. Alternatively, you can find practice games titled with whacky game modes (not officially enforced in any way) such as:
-- ARAM (all random all mid; very imba at times, but otherwise hilariously fun)
-- Draft racing (death by enemy fountain laser = win)
-- Kill Teemo (duh)
And hey, I'm a testament to free games because I don't spend any money whatsoever. If I'm playing a F2P, and I'm enjoying it, it's probably very good!
MapleStory... only reason why I stayed so long and endured Nexon's bullshyt was because of the community and friends. But that slowly died off and my lappy decided to fart o.O So that's the end of that chapter in my life (lvl 159, no NX ever).
DFO... quickly went the direction of MapleStory with crap communication systems, and NX clothes gives stats.
Dragon Nest... same story as DFO. I might come back after beta, but only because of the story really >_>
