I don't really see how not trying to be perfect would improve your playstyle. If anything it would improve it by lots... Also I don't really think you understand how vital creep score is. I remember a game where Ashe killed me thrice, but I still held a 70 cs advantage over her and she was surprised why I outdmged her in 1vs1. I was Caitlyn by the way. What I sometimes do to motivate me to do such a tedious task is to make it a little competition. And if we lose the match at least I can say to myself that I won my lane by having more cs then the other. One thing is for sure: you won't reach a high elo ever without paying a great deal of attention to last hitting properly.
