All right, so Ascension is coming and I have been anticipating this patch for months. Maple's state in terms of the economy and hackers made me say "screw it, my gear is good enough, not going to bother upgrading anymore unless I can afford it."
So now I'm curious about some of the new archer skills.
1. What exactly does Illusion Step do?
2. Do Final Attack really not trigger when using Strafe(/Ulti. Strafe, my sniper wishes to know this)?
3. Any idea what will happen to existing skill books? Specifically Phoenix and Frostprey, since those have been moved to 3rd Job. Will the skillbooks be removed completely or will they be changed to Spirit Pact skillbooks?
4. Does HB/Decent HB stack with Spirit Pact? I would assume they do, since Spirit Pact isn't dispellable, as long as your bird is out.
And unrelated to the archer questions, but;
5. I heard that there will be a Hot Time event, with SP resets for archers/warriors/magicians. Is the reset only for the one logged in or does it count for the entire account, given that they are of the appropriate class? I ask this because I have two bowmen and a magician who can really use these resets. If it only counts for the character logged in, I'll just let my Bowmaster have that...
Forgive me if these aren't the smartest questions or if they have been answered a dozen times before, but I have been ignoring Maple since May and am really quite behind on things, but the archer update is really all I care about in terms of playing again whenever I next can, lol.
