Speed-of-light experiments yield baffling result at LHC

ahh thanks actually. the media lose so much in their translations from science to english. they expected ~7.4ns of systematic error, and got many measurements way too far outside of that to be from what they accounted for.

this is a few interviews by scientific american of other physicists more or less saying "hmm, i bet they forgot something". personally, i think the most interesting one is the guy who says neutrinos from a supernova would have arrived 4 years sooner if they could travel 60ns faster than light. and that begs the question of whether we were even looking for neutrinos associated with supernovae 4 years prior to that observation.
