You can't use the protal with the seed unless your are lvl 15.
The quest to obtain 2 seeds and 1k exp was removed (probably due to whiny lvl 8 mages completely stuck in Leafree).
You can't buy a ticket for the boat unless you are lvl 10, but you got there reacently so you should be able to leave.
Those who are truely stuck can use the storage to transfer funds or train in the mushroom garden at Zip until they can use the portal or buy a boat ticket.
A door doesn't help him. Doors do not door off the content. And a door to the portal is silly since there's no monsters on the ground for those two maps and he's too low lvl to use the portal anyway.
