Yeah, I would have preferred it if they had just waited longer to make an anime out of this. At least then they could have gotten a 20-26 episode season out without having to derail the plot and make up an ending that's barely even mediocre. Still, the rest of the anime was amazing, and I got some great soundtracks out of it at least.
