Controversy erupts over Campus Republicans @ UC Berkeley over their racist bake sale

As I said before, EVERYONE must have equal chances of entering. I really don't understand why did the United States choose to make it easier for me.

because i, as an upper-middle class white male, am assumed have an easier time throwing enough money at my problems to make them go away. as a latino, you are assumed to have less access to those kind of funds because you arent who built america, you are who built mexico, a much poorer country in general. so the people who believe government should help the less fortunate have written legislation so that you can bypass the art of throwing money at your problems because youre not assumed to be rich.

same goes for black people, except replace "from mexico" with "were enslaved and kept down for a long time". idk about asians.

affirmative action is bullpomegranate in college and afterwards. affirmative action is needed in gradeschools so that people can be offered the chance to become great before theyve decided to suck.

edit: oh, ninjas! dont avoid the US just because of affirmative action, that would be a big mistake. you can take advantage of it and maybe be better off for it. denying yourself the opportunity to live a probably better life to uphold your pride and principles is a philosophical high road.
