The second aizen was SEALED instead of KILLED means the possibility of breaking out existed. Renji is just going along with that expectation. Conveniently, Aizen was the strongest anti-hero renji had known so he used him as a benchmark for his training because byakuya is weaksauce and ichigo is powerless. Whether aizen will actually come back or not doesn't matter. If someone stronger than aizen appeared renji would just use him as said benchmark instead of aizen. Not sure why this simple sentence pisses you off so much.
