You really need to give more information. Given the age of that CPU model, you should specify whether the motherboard supports PCI-E or only AGP. [ If I had to guess, it has an AGP slot (if the motherboard supports any external graphics card). ] Also, power output of the power supply would be helpful so that no one recommends a card that would overly stress that.

Finally, if any of the games that you are wanting to play are recent (e.g., <2-3 yrs.), then you'll be much better off just saving your money and building/buying a new computer.
