Ok I see your point, but you really can't apply physics to Naruto when there are people standing on water, flying around launching lazers and fuzing with giant monsters destroying mountains. I'm going to go with Sasuke is just a beast and had that last card up his sleeve.

And yes, some of the stronger more talented leaf ninja should have helped Naruto after Pain pinned him down, but a lot of them were wounded while more of them were dead. I think they believed in Naruto and decided to let him handle it, considering he told them to. Btw, that slug works for Tsunade, so it does have some influence. If you are saying that they should have helped Naruto before Pain pinned him, we are just going to have to agree to disagree.
