I TOTALLY feel that way too sometimes. If I scroll something really nice, i tend to badly scroll things for a while after. But you should try and keep optimistic about it. Beating yourself up won't do any good. Just try and get back on your feet money-wise, and worry about getting your magic back later. (I mean isn't MW20 and Bliz30 a LOT more important than 5 magic?)
Plus like everyone else said. ANY elemental wand > ANY other weapon, for a AM. Eemental Boost > Magic.
