Never been a fan of the iPods. Seriously they're too hyped. Never the less, the touch ... its got me intrigued. And its pretty

I say touch. Classics too blah ... even if it can hold more.
4gb ... how long did it take you to fill that up? Cause, if it took a couple of years, then the touch might just be enough.
If it took you like ... a couple of months ... like seriously, wtp ... then go for the classic. You're probably gonna need it o.o.
