Since 17 is freshman in college age that could be totally okay. I'm pretty used to seeing 17/18 w/ 21+ at this point.
Age aside it sounded like a 50% shitty 50% enjoyable relationship anyway which isn't enough to justify worrying much about it. Have fun being single! I love it.
