Just my two cents, scientists have found things from as minor as an apple falling off a tree or beans' varying skin colors to as whacko as the existence or lack thereof of motion fascinating enough to devote parts or all of their life into studying them.
Now, I love Discovery channel as much as the next guy, but there has to be something that you'd simply look at and utter in awe "this is just mind-blowingly beautiful/wonderful" without it being spoken for, is there not?
I'm quite narrow-minded so I can't quite wrap my head around this simulation being boring. A video can be boring, sure; what's being shown here is, at least to me, the possible outcome of the future far far far far ahead of any point in time that my mind can conceptualize, though. Humankind has taken ONE second of that video to grow to being capable of simulating the rest, where will we be if given another second?
