Metroid has a password system anyway.

I don't play games to do the exact same thing over and over again. That's why I quit maple. I played and beat most of these games as a kid but I don't have the patience anymore. I've been spoiled by the evolution of gaming.

If there were an option to have actual save points as opposed to save states, I'd take that any day. Saving at the beginning of each Mario stage would be just fine by me. Zelda is perfect the way it is, for example. But a game like Metroid is too deep to expect you to run through in one solid play (where do you even put in the passwords anyway!?)

Also the controls on the 3DS are really unresponsive.
