The new Zelda games will never be better than OOT, and there's statistics that smack any opinions that say otherwise. Zelda was a great series, and I played all games up to The Wind Waker. I remember the three year's worth of hype for Twilight Princess, but when I saw how it really turned out, I was completely demotivated in buying a Wii for a game that I didn't think would match up to the previous titles on the GC and N64.
I personally enjoyed Majora's Mask more than I did OOT. I was kinda ticked at first because you couldn't be an adult link, and I loved being adult link in OOT, but eventually I got over it and loved how the whole 3-day system made it a lot more of a challenge. When I played it four or so years ago, I couldn't be assed to get all of the masks because I wasn't patient enough, and didn't want to use a guide..
I still have urges to play it nowadays, but I don't have an N64 anymore.
