Like someone else said, there are probably equally white people who are following McCain because he isn't Black. I'm not disagreeing that there are definitely black people who are supporting him blindly. But if you went to a state (not to stereotype, but a southern state? not sure exactly where there might be a concentration of black dislike) and did this with McCain spouting some of Obamas policies, you would easily be able to generate the same results.
One of the worst offenders of blind support from what I've seen if Oprah. Obama could probably hand it a piece of paper he wiped his arse with and she would probably declare it to be a work of genius.

I think you're missing the point here.

How many Black people would choose a person based on race rather than qualifications? How many White people would choose a person based on race rather than qualifications?

If Whites were as racist as you claim, McCain would have THE EXACT SAME kind of lead among Whites that Obama has among Blacks. Even among the states where McCain has his highest leads, I wouldn't think he leads by any more than around 60~70% among Whites.

Meanwhile McCain's plan takes more income tax from your paycheck, and throws $5,000 at everyone, meanwhile the average healthcare for one person costs $12,000 a year. Five months of healthcare...

If I were insured, I'd be losing ~50 dollars from each one of my pay checks. Over 52 weeks, that is a total of about 2600 dollars. McCain's plan would have to increase my cost by nearly 2x to break even, more than 2x to be at a higher cost for me.

But that said, even that is a bad idea. It is not the government's job to give people health insurance, whether it be by forcing a universal system or if it's by giving checks to individuals to pay for health care. It is the government's job to protect the rights of it's citizens, and "insurance" is not a "right", nor would I even say that "health" is a "right".
