If I had to wager a guess, I'd imagine that they're pulling in everyone possible to help out with the Dragon Nest server issues. You know things are bad when half the time, you're faced with a dual login error/people DC before you even get into the servers, and the most populated servers have a waiting list for you to even get inside, with said list sometimes glitching and freezing.
(Whoever thought it was a good idea to have two east coast servers and one west coast server at the beginning of open beta needs to get shot. Sure, there's two west coast servers now, but that came one week too late when considering that there was an event for a free perma cash shop item that required participation for most of the first two weeks, meaning almost no one was going to abandon the original west coast server to move to the new server.)
