I get what you are saying and yes, I read that page you posted, but I still have some doubts. Mainly the fact that the 3rd Hokage knew that the 4th had sealed his soul away and considering he (the 3rd) used the same Demon Soul Technique to seal the 1st and 2nd hokages away, I find it strange that the 3rd would have to make an attempt to stop the summoning of the 4th, when the 3rd already knew the 4th could not be summoned. I find more likely that it was someone else, judging by the 3rd's reaction.

Again, until somone tried summoning someone who died from the death god seal, nobody, not the 3rd and not orochimaru would know it would fail. The third hokage didn't know that the method of death meant hte 4th couldn't be summoned, and neither did orochimaru. Considering the 4th hokage was the only person to have died in that manner at that point in time, nobody could have possibly known what would happen.

How am I wrong? The attempt to summon the 4th wasn't at the time he fought the third Hokage. Of course he would try, previously, before fighting him. It's not a one use techinque. He found out before fighting him, thats sure.

The third Hokage stopped Orochimaru using his own ninjutsu, not with magic. From another summon that wasn't the 4th, and still scared the 3rd.

It blatantly shows the scene where oro summoned the first and 2nds in that same panel that it says the 4th couldn't be summoned. Are you seriously arguing that wasn't what he tried to summon?

EDIT: I have to agree with OB3LISK and CrazyForDex, something that also proves I'm right. Why would the 3rd try to stop it if he knew well about both jutsus, and he care enough to stop the summon.

Feel free to show me how anyone would have known what the results of trying to summon someone from the death gods belly would have been before the VERY FIRST ATTEMPT AT EVER DOING IT.
