Dude... wtp. Orochimaru knew enough about Konoha to attack it. He was a sannin, an excellent ninja, with many servants under his control. He surely Knew about the 4th Hokage being dead. And besides, Orochimaru came ready, he knew who he would summon. I wouldn't go facing a HOKAGE without knowing my stuff first. Minato knew the technice, orochimaru, the third, the second, and later on Kabuto. Orochimaru could also have tried it before.

Your argument of he not knowing is just... wrong. The final person that he tried to summon remains a mystery though, unless it's the same one Kabuto wants to summon.

And again, the third hokage said out loud to orochimaru that HE HAD NEVER HEARD OF THE TECHNIQUE THAT THE 3RD WAS ABOUT TO USE ON HIM. Him being dead WASN'T THE PROBLEM. It was his method of death that stopped him being summoned . Feel free to go and read that chapter again, but you're looking stupid saying that orochimaru would know all the in's and outs of a technique only 2 people have ever used or knew about. Especially when the manga also says it was the 4th hokage in that coffin.
