There are programs of where they will reverse your IP address to match with all the emails registered or associated with it. Now Ip address' are typically static so they have to go through quite a bit of email's, where they find facebook pages, myspace pages to narrow it down.Then things like google/msn prefer you use the IP address to prove your identity, or at least help. Msn will automatically reset the password if you have the first/last name and Ip address, well they did until they updated their security like I think in November? Around there.
