You should watch streams from solomid.net to get a better grasp on how to play. It'll help your game immensely. If you're getting ganked non-stop then you're either overextending in your lane (by auto hitting minions and not last hitting), or you're not keeping your entrances warded from their jungler.

Just plunged into my first two ranked games and I am severely disappointed. Had to carry both games as Caitlyn because our team decided to go double AD even after I explained that I can only play AD and solo top bruiser. The normal games that I play are of a much higher skill level, granted the level of play I've seen so far in ranked is pretty, freakin` awful. Can't wait until ranked games become challenging and less frustrating.
