I guess it depends how risk adverse you are, but in my opinion, if your item is worth billions, it's not worth the risk.
Before these Tim's Labs came out, I blew up 2 Reverse DB Masks. It costs so much more to replace them than just to pay that extra price for 100% potential.
Similarly, I refuse to risk destroying a shoulder I spend 2b+ making.
The way I see it is that buying a 10 ATK WG for 300m and selling it NX is only a small cost relative to the value of the item itself.
