What's right and wrong?
#1
Well, I was looking at one thing (looking for pic of Megas XLR on google), which lead to me look at something completely different (a funny joke site) and I somehow end up watching this? The internet is funny that way.
I WARN YOU! DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO IF YOU CAN'T SIT THROUGH A "Saw (1-5) " MOVIE!
http://www.chooseveg.com/animal-cruelty.asp

Anyways... I'd like to know what your perspective is on eating meat and vegetarianism.
Questoins I wish for someone to answer :
1) What are the pros and cons of cutting out meat from your diet?

2) What are the pros and cons of living off of crops and fruits for the rest of your life?

3) Have we gone too far in satisfying our need to feed?

4) Is eating meat such a necessity? If it is, does that mean these acts (shown in the video) are justified?

---I know we and every other predatory animal of the world have been killing other animals since the dawn of time to survive, but I feel as if it's crossing the line of cruelty. Atleast in the wild, the animal being hunted has a chance to live. Btw, I'm not forcing you to watch that video, but please if you are going to post a reply, THEN WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO FIRST.

---Personally I can't imagine ridding myself of meat. I'm reminded of the news story about how men who eat tofu every day have a lowered sperm count, but yeah... Then again, there's plenty of alternatives that don't require meat. Pasta, rice, fruit, vegetables, oatmeal (with water duh), nuts, and probably more I haven't named. Is there a solution where we don't have to eliminate meat from our diets and maintain a humane way of getting meat? I know it seems idiotic to ask for a humane way to still get meat, but I mean atleast a way that doesn't involve an entire life (I mean from birth to death) of suffering for the animals. And if for some reason you're going to post a pic, use a spoiler tag so as not to offend anyone. I hope I'm not offending anyone by making this thread... I don't expect more than two replies. Atleast two. (._.')
