Otherwise, if you didn't take those classes before college, you cannot skip the equivalent courses in college and you will have to take them. (Hence why taking them in high school will enhance your admissions profile + give you some college credits to start off).

And about scholarships: Look around the interwebz; there's a lot of scholarships out there for the taking (though do be careful about the scam ones out there). Find out early, apply early, and if they require essays or whatever, take time to do it early and make it solid.
