I save it for the ones who actually grab the flag cause of the cooldown, most never make it that far.Paladins are defensive beasts in a whole 'nother way when it comes to CtP.
Stun + Ice means that getting to the flag is a pretty freak'n hard in the first place.
Soul Driver and an ACB tends to finish most people off.
Those who do manage to get past this wall don't end up that lucky since there's a mighty hammer waiting to crack their skulls.

They really didn't think too much about how they could make it hard to get the flag I think. They could have made the map larger with obstacles, or given each player a unique beginner skill for CFT that lets them place walls with HP and cooldowns (puppet 2.0), or made it so that skills like FJ and Double Jump sap the user's HP. They could have done all sorts of things to make it fair for classes without movement skills without nerfing the crap out of everyone's health.I actually like the fast-pace tone of the game. It's a nice mix from the other modes where a match can seem to drone on forever.
I also don't like how they made CTF have a 3 Cap limit. The rounds go way too fast like that, and they could have just as easily made CTF award the team that gets the most Caps within the time limit. They could have also made it so scoring gives points greater than or equal to killing another player, that way CTF could still be a decent mode for getting BP.
All in all, I'm just disappointed with Capture the Flag and everything they tried to do with it.
Otherwise, I fully agree.
I actually find the mode to be really enjoyable, but that just makes it all the worse when a FJer is on either team because it means that this match will be over quickly.
I've seen the idea of giving classes specialized skills such as obstacle summoning echoed in a few boards and from friends, and the fact that Nexon didn't implement such a thing is quite the missed opportunity.
Point distribution should have been a bigger focus than HP balancing too. It's a tad odd that achieving the goal of the mode doesn't award nearly as many points as running off and killing people.
