Nah not at all we must work our asses off to earn this.
Now that we are out of the land that is your logic I agree that the drop rate is a little too high at least have so your there for 10-15 minutes for each monster(exception being bosses) not the 2 seconds it takes to kill one monster get the card and move onto the next map.
Way to put a bunch of stupid words in my mouth. Glad I didn't actually say them.
I don't want an impossible monster book, either. But, as I've said a MILLION TIMES since JMS got this garbage, there's a middle ground between what it is and what it was. This should be ongoing content that takes a few months to complete, not a few days or even a few weeks. It should be something that people do because they want to do it, and it should be rewarding for their efforts. It shouldn't be rewarding because they killed a monster; that's retarded.
Boss cards should be 100%.
Regular cards should have retained their old drop rates, with the exception of some of the abysmal purple/black cards (Gate Keeper and Cold Shark, I'm looking at you.) I think those colours as a whole could've used a boost but rare-spawning monsters definitely should have had a much higher drop rate solely because of how much effort was required to hunt them. This also includes bot-catching monsters.
If people can't be bothered to actually work for their rewards then they don't deserve the reward. Period. Everything in Maple is handed to people and not only does it ruin the challenge of the game but it actually hurts Nexon because NOW THERE'S NO REASON TO LOG IN. I've literally finished the entirety of their "exclusive" content IN LESS THAN 6 HOURS OF PLAYTIME. That is a terrible way to run a game. What is the purpose of working on content when it can be finished so quickly? I don't even understand the logic in that.
In the past it took me around 6 hours of dedicated hunting to finish Ariant (up to the gate of Magatia) with all 5 cards for every monster. If you think that that drop rate is too high than you're out of your mind because that totals up to around 50-some cards. But it kept people from blowing through the content and provided me with something to do long after each new patch's novelty wore off which only took a few hours after patch day.
