Sure, HP never hurts, but if you can't sacrifice like a boss when they lower the HP loss % you just suck. xP
Besides, My wife is a DrK. Her sacs hit cap more often than not, and that just means Dark Impale will be better at some point.

if i remember correctly, on 1vs1, impale had to hit around 1.2 million damage to be better than an always-capping sacrifice
