I mean ANYTHING would be better than "We'll update you later"
I would much rather then fix the problem then waste time just to say "sorry we don't know when we'll be done please stand by." Just get it fixed then come back and say games up here's what happened, servers got knocked out by whatever it was since you all missed 2x today we will be doing A,B and C as compensation have a nice days. Wasting time to get the servers up enough just to say we don't know when said work will be done is a waste of time.
