However, the power has been up and stable for hours now, and Maple is still down.
Apparently, the crash caused severe damage to their database, which they are still trying to repair.
This *is* their fault.
Designing a database in such a way that abrupt power loss can cause it that kind of damage, and not providing the db server (or the entire server farm) with a UPS to prevent such abrupt power loss, is their fault.
As for what the electric company will or will not compensate Nexon for, I couldn't care less. It does not affect Nexon's liability, such as it is, to its own customers.
