Update on Cards:
I am testing with parties. I can almost confirm that when a card pops out, anyone in the party who hit the monster will be able to see the card. I am about to check to see if this is true for non-Boss monsters.
Essentially, I was running around ellinia with a lvl 199 mage and a lvl 40 cleric in a party. When the mage killed a mob whose card both players needed, only the mage saw the card. When I went to Faust, I hit him with the cleric first, then killed it with the mage. The card was on Both screens and I picked it up with the cleric. Now I will look for a non-boss mob to see if I can hit it once with the cleric and then kill it with the mage. Will update post after.
UPDATE: It doesn't work on non-boss monsters. Only the person who makes the Kill on non-boss monsters will have a chance for a card. I tested this at Malady. I used my cleric to hit them several times then used the mage to get the final blow. The cleric never saw any cards on his screen.
